Im just a 16 year old gal?!?!?!?

Yes. I was mistaken by a drink stall uncle to be 16 years old! Hmmph! My dad asked me to help him get cigarettes. So i went and asked:

"Uncle, one London Gold."

"Er.. " *the look of suspicion* " You buy for who one?"

"Im buying for my dad." *feeling slightly irritated*

"Huh? Sure anot?"

(pointing at my dad sitting nearby) "Yah! There! My dad sitting there!"

"Orh.. okok I thot you 16 year old." *heaved a sigh of relief*

"HUH? Uncle i not 16 leh.. already 23 liao. HAHA." *dotdotdot*

Aiyo. I can be mistaken to be 7 years younger?!!? Im not sure if i shld be happy or sad. Well, from what ive seen frm the pple ard, i kinda get the feeling that we all wanna look old when we are young, and wanna look young when we are old. Look at all the teens nowadays, dolling themselves up with thick make up and high heels. They all are below the age limit but wanna look mature enuf to enter the clubs. On the other hand, the rich and mature tai tais go for botox and face lifts etc etc just to look a tad younger. What is world coming to? Come on, lets face reality. God has given us such imperfect, yet beautiful bodies.. we are created in His image. How can we complain abt our looks? I, of all people, should be thankful for my youthful looks, rather than complain abt looking kiddy. =)
