Blessed to be a blessing!

My blog postings are getting less frequent nowadays.. Work just got busier and ive jus gotten hooked to "Naruto". Haha. Yup, i know its kinda passe, but wat to do? My Tatty introduced it to me recently... and ive watched up to ard 40? episode today. Its a great anime that i feel, teaches some good values (among the bad ones like violence!) such as perserverence and friendship. You guys shld try to watch it some time. Altho i do think that being hooked onto it is really not good cos it takes away time for other things and esp time for sleep! And i really think animes make me behave like some character frm anime too! Ever since i started watching Full Metal Alchmist, another cool anime, my funny antics had gotten worse! LOL. Brenda can vouch to that i suppose. Here below's an edited pic of 3 clowns frm EY.

Oh yes, i also haf a GOOD NEWS! That is, good news for myself only. One morning this week, my senior came over to me and asked me to choose between "XXX" and "YYY" as the bookings clashed. (FYI, those are 2 of my audit clients for the next yr) In my mind, i told myself "SURE i'd choose the latter!!!" But i kept it to myself and waited for her to continue. She then revealed that she had another A2 to help her. This was the moment. The moment of VICTORY! Wahahaha... so i immediately replied : "OK i'll choose YYY since you have Sunny to help you.. " =) Whee!!!! Yippee! Hooray!!!! I was so relieved and elated! That i din haf to face THAT client again. I hated doing XXX audit cos firstly, their operations are so complicating and confusing. Secondly, people in Finance are not so nice pple that to me, seem like high handed, arrogant pigs. I totally cringed at the thought of facing them again next yr. I really hope 11 June 2007 was the last day i had to go back there ever again. Here's a pic taken on my last day there. No regrets at all.

(Oops, abit of er.. anger here haha)

(to cheer myself up: Here's a photo taken in Jaya (audit client) full of FOOD, FOOD and more FOOD! Yummy!)

I just read a devotional from my email that tokked abt being blessed to be a blessing. It ended with this :

"In a society that far too often is absorbed in self – self-advancement, self-promotion, even self-blessing – what kind of legacy are we leaving for the next generation? Is it one that is saturated in self, or is it one that sees the blessing of others as central to the message of God?
You have been blessed. Now it’s your turn."

Its a great reminder to many of us who are so absorbed in ourselves so much that we forget the people around us. Let's take a look around and see who is in need of our help. And let's not only see, but let's also give. Give generously.
