He comforts me

Yesterday was truly a black monday. First thing in the morning, i totally forgot about my laptop and left house without it! Upon realising at last minute, i had to take a 20 buck cab home and back. Reached office at 920.. no seats! Me, Von and Brenda found some at the other side of the office.. .tog with team 3. Phew!

And later, my dad sms me this: Clara, mum and dad will be worried SICK if you go...for our sakes, please ABORT the trip...
Well, the story goes: There was a budget air crash in phuket on sunday due mainly to bad weather. My dad checked that thunderstorms would be expected there.

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother—which is the first commandment with a promise— that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." - Eph 6:1-3

I jus learnt this verse in church not too long ago. To pretend to forget it wld be hypocritical. I fought hard within myself.. and i obeyed. Unwillingly at first, but im coming to terms with it. Altho i do feel sad and angry at times, but i know to stop me from joining my frens on the trip pains my dad too. Thanks Dad, for loving me. =) Ill just haf you pay for my next trip then! Muahaha.

Then, next thing that happened was i had duck rice for both meals, lunch and dinner!
Later when i wanted to plonk myself on the bed to drown myself with ninjutsus and all the other jutsus (im tokking abt naruto, by the way), it couldnt connect the external hard disk to my comp and my internet was not working. I had to dismantle the CPU singlehandedly to attach the ext hard disk in. I sweated and ached for close to an hr before getting it to work. (Of coz, i haf my Tatty to thank!)

What a day! But i thank God, who comforts me in such times.
