small incident, BIG lesson.
What happened?After my cell group in church this evening, i had a funny tummyache and so i went to the toilet before leaving church for home. But its was a failed attempt in the toilet, so i left for home quickly hoping the tummy ache wouldnt aggravate into something worseeee...
But ALAS! It did and all the way home on the train from Bugis to Tampines i was in pain. (Tatty, doesnt it remind you of a particular game??? =P)
The journey seemed like forever...............................................................................................................
Towards the end, i somehow got the illusion the pain went away.. hence i began to walk to the interchange only to haf the pain WORSEN with each step i took. Arghh it was unbearable and i had to sit down on the bench next to Mr Ronald Mcdonald holding in my tummy... I had jus missed the closest toilet at the MRT....
I was praying so hard for God to suppress the urge so i could go 'do it' in the comfort of my own home.
BUT GOD IS GOOD!!! I happened to turn around and a toilet appeared! Hahaha.. not that it wasnt there before..
I rushed in and yippee! It was a clean food court toilet! YAY!
*** loud explosion***
You could guess what happened next. =P
Although it may seem like a small and forgettable incident to some of u, it was one that i will keep in my heart for a long time.
It was a testimony of God's provision for me. Jehovah Jireh.. our Provider. He never fails to provide the best for us. He prob didnt want me to control my tummy ache till i got home coz it wld haf been bad for my health. Instead He gave me a toilet! He provides the BIG things, as well as the small things. I just want to offer up my thanks and praise to my Sovereign God.. Thank You Lord! You are the best! =)))
