My last minute off day

Yippee! I took a last minute leave last Friday cos there was really nothing in office to do (per previous post). Jus when i was looking forward to actually watching my Naruto, my mum told me she was also on leave! So.. we had a girls' day out. Hee. Just me and my mum. Sweet. We went to the dentist once again to check my teeth. Sensitive, Doctor Theng says. But.. still PAIN!

Then my mum brought me to the only Olio Dome at Suntec which serves this dessert called Olio Style Brownie.

This is simply heaven! Glorious. What a fantastic recipe.. all my fav! Nuts, choc, fudge, icecream, brownie and hot plate! Woohoo! All for the price of 7.5 bucks. A MUST TRY!

Then we went shopping around and i bought this nail kit for 40 bucks. http://www.adi-beauty.com/nail.htm Check it out.. Its formed using the dead sea minerals.. supposedly relaxing and nourishing. Its based in Israel.. (Cool!) and located at Suntec Carrefour Tower.. on a pushcart somewhere outside Charles and Keith on the 1st floor.

Later went to Sakura buffet at Orchard Shopping Centre for Jaya Team buffet! But... sigh. Only 5 out of 8 were present.

Later we went over to Indochine for drinks. I ordered a diluted avalanche.. whisky, kahlua and milk. 15 bucks just for that. Lousy. Ambience also not tht great...live band was outdoors.. which was really crowded. Indoors was a restaurant setting.. didnt feel very bar-y to me. Heh. Anyways, company good can liao la. We shared qian4 bian3 qns.. and IQ qns.. courtesy of BK and Alvin. Haha. Hmm... but the best thing abt that day was... ALL FOOD & DRINKS were paid for!

Lemme end with a qian4 bian3 qn: One char siew bao and one mantou went for a sad movie. The char siew bao cried so much, but the mantou did not shed a tear. Why? Stay tuned for the answer!
