National day has always been an emo experience for me. Each year ever since i had begun to watch NDP on TV, i tear whenever the national anthem is sung. HAHA. You may find it sooooo patriotic, but for me, its one meaningful time of the year when we remember how God has rained His blessings down on this tiny red dot called Singapore. Let's reflect on our nation's past: We were discovered so 'coincidentally' by Sang Nila Utama, founded by Sir Stamford Raffles and acheived independence in 1965. No natural disasters, terrorists bombings etc occurred here. Our economy continues to grow and expand..we are like top amongst the Asia Pacific countries in many areas. One good examples is our Changi Airport. What's more, IR's gonna be built in 2010 (something i dont really look forward to), Singapore Flyer in 2008, many changes going on for the better future of Singapore.
Count our blessings, Singaporeans! Be thankful for God's hand on our nation. I love Singapore!
